Esther, 8

3. And not content with these things, she fell down at the king's feet and wept, and speaking to him besought him, that he would give orders that the malice of Aman the Agagite, and his most wicked devices which he had invented against the Jews, should be of no effect.

Esther Chapter 8 deals with the solution found by Esther and Mordecau to the problem of the death sentence that had been decreed against the Jews. 1 Peter 5:7: "By casting upon him all your anxiety, because he takes care of you." This verse is a reminder that we can give our concerns to God, trusting that He will take care of us.

Philippians 4:6: "You are not restless for anything; before, your petitions are all known before God, prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving." This verse encourages prayer as a means of expressing our needs and concerns to God, making sure that He hears and responds to our prayer.
