Deuteronomy, 9

21. Regarding the sin, that calf which you had made - I threw it in the fire, broke it into pieces and ground it until it was fine as dust. Then I threw the dust into the brook that flows down from the mountain.

" This verse highlights God's promise to transform the hearts of His people and write their law into their hearts, that they may obey and be faithful to him.

Romans 3:23-24: "For all have sinned and deprived are of the glory of God; being justified free of charge by His grace, by redemption in Christ Jesus." This verse reinforces the idea that all have sinned and need God's grace and mercy to be justified and saved, as was the case with the people of Israel.
