29. The rest of the history of Solomon, from first to last, is recorded in the History of Nathan the prophet, in the Prophecy of Ahijah of Shiloh, and in the Vision of Iddo, the seer concerning Jeroboam son of Nebat.

1 Kings 10:23: "Thus King Solomon exceeded all kings of the earth, both in riches and wisdom." This verse reinforces the main theme of 2 chronicles 9, which is the greatness of Solomon as king and his wisdom.

Psalm 72:1-2: "O God, give the King your judgments, and your righteousness to the Son of the King. Judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with judgment." This psalm is a prayer for the welfare of the king, who is responsible for governance with justice and taking care of his people, as Solomon did in his reign.
