They falsely prophesy you in my name; I have not sent them, says the Lord. " This verse talks about the false prophets that Jeremiah is warning the neighboring kings of Judah not to hear.
Jeremiah 25:11-12 - "And all this land will be in desolation and astonishment; and these nations will serve the king of Babylon seventy years. And when the seventy years are fulfilled, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, says the Lord, by his iniquity, and I will punish the land of the Chaldeans; and I will make it a perpetual desolation. " This verse predicts the punishment that God will inflict to Babylon after they conclude His task of punishing Judah, showing that God is in control of the situation.
2 Chronicles 36:17: "God handed them all into the hands of the Chaldeans." This verse reports God's action to hand over the people of Judah into the hands of the Chaldeans as a consequence of the disobedience and sins of the people.
