Ezekiel, 38

12. Thus, you will plunder spoils, and you will take possession of prey, so that you may lay your hand upon those who had been abandoned, and afterwards were restored, and upon a people who were gathered away from the Gentiles, a people who have begun to possess, and to be the inhabitants of, the navel of the earth.

Verses related to Ezekiel, 38:

Ezekiel 38 describes an invasion led by Gog from the land of Magog against Israel. The verses below are related to the theme of the chapter:

Revelation 20:8: "And they will deceive the nations that are on the four corners of the earth, gog and Magog, whose number is like the sand of the sea, in order to help them to battle." This verse refers to Gog and Magog as a covenant of nations deceived by Satan and who join the final battle against God.

Joel 3:9-11: "Proclaim this among the nations; prepare war, raise the strong; come up, all men of war come up. Force Swords from your plowed tits, and spears of your poders; Tell the weak : I am strong. Gather and come, all the peoples around, and congregate you; to bring your powerful to there. " This verse speaks of an invitation for the nations to prepare for war and unite against Israel.

Ezekiel 39:6: "And I will send a fire on Magog, and among those who dwell in the islands; and they will know that I am the Lord." This verse speaks of God's intervention in the battle against Magog, showing that He is the Lord.

Zechariah 14:2: "For I will gather all the nations to the battle against Jerusalem; and the city will be taken, and the houses will be looted, and the forced women; and half of the city will come out to captivity, but the rest of the people do not will be extirpated from the city. " This verse speaks of an invasion against Jerusalem, which seems to be related to the theme of Ezekiel 38.

Revelation 16:14: "For they are spirits of demons, who operate signs; which meet kings from all over the world to congregate them to the battle of the great day of almighty God." This verse describes evil spirits that call nations to the final battle, which resembles what is described in Ezekiel 38.
