Deuteronomy, 24

15. Instead, you shall pay him the price of his labor on the same day, before the setting of the sun. For he is poor, and with it he sustains his life. Otherwise, he may cry out against you to the Lord, and it would be charged to you as a sin.

1 John 3:17: "But if anyone has material resources and sees his brother, but he closes his heart to him, how can the love of God be in him?" This verse highlights the importance of helping those who are in need and not be selfish with our resources.

Matthew 6:14-15: "For if they forgive each other's offenses, heavenly Father will forgive you too. But if they do not forgive each other, the heavenly Father will not forgive your offenses."
