2 Corinthians, 2

4. For with much tribulation and anguish of heart, I wrote to you with many tears: not so that you would be sorrowful, but so that you might know the charity that I have more abundantly toward you.

Verses related to 2 Corinthians, 2:

2 Corinthians 2 deals with forgiveness and reconciliation between church members. The apostle Paul encourages Corinthians to forgive and restore a brother who had been previously disciplined. He also talks about the importance of maintaining unity in the church and recognizing apostolic authority. Here are five verses related to the topics covered in 2 Corinthians 2:

Romans 12:18: "If possible, how much it depends on you, tend peace with all men." Paul emphasizes the importance of peace and unity among brothers, something that is approached in 2 Corinthians 2.

Colossians 3:13: "SUPPORT ONE OTHERS, FORGIVE TO YOU SEEFLY If anyone has a reason for complaining against others. Just as the Lord forgave you, so forgive you." Forgiveness is a central theme in 2 Corinthians 2 and this verse encourages to forgive as we were forgiven.
