7. Go, and tell Jeroboam: ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Although I exalted you from the midst of the people, and I granted to you to be the leader over my people Israel,

Chapter 14 of the book of 1 kings speaks about God's judgment about King Jeroboam of Israel, who had sinned and led the people of Israel to sin as well. The chapter describes how Jeroboam lost his son and his wife, as well as being warned that his dynasty would be destroyed because of his disobedience.

2 Chronicles 13:6: "But Jeroboam, son of Nate, Servant of Solomon, son of David, rose and rebelled against his Lord." This verse mentions Jeroboam, the main focus of chapter 14 of 1 kings, and how he rebelled against King Solomon.
