Revelation, 18

2. He cried out in a mighty voice: "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great. She has become a haunt for demons. She is a cage for every unclean spirit, a cage for every unclean bird, (a cage for every unclean) and disgusting (beast).

Jeremiah 51:7: "Babylon was a golden chalice in the hands of the Lord, who drunk the whole earth. The nations drank from the wine of his wrath; so they are now crazy." This verse describes how Babylon was used by God to punish other nations, but now it will be punished itself.

Jeremiah 51:45: "Get out of her, my people! Save, each of you, from the ardent wrath of the Lord." This verse is an appeal for people to leave the city of Babylon before it is destroyed, which is similar to what is described in Revelation 18.

Isaiah 48:20: "Get out of Babylon! Flute from the Babylonians! Advertise this with shouts of joy, and proclaim it. Send it to the ends of the earth; say, 'The Lord rescued his servant Jacob!'" This verse It is a call for people to leave the city of Babylon before it is destroyed.
