2 Chronicles, 33

22. He did evil in the sight of the LORD, just as his father Manasseh had done. Amon offered sacrifice to all the idols which his father Manasseh had made, and worshiped them.

" This verse talks about God's response to humility and repentance, indicating that he is willing to forgive and hear those who turn to him.

2 Corinthians 7:10: "For sadness according to God produces repentance for salvation, which to no one brings weighing; but the sadness of the world produces death." This verse highlights the importance of sadness and pain in the Christian life, pointing out that it can lead to repentance and salvation.
