Leviticus, 16

27. The bull and the goat offered as a sacrifice for sin, the blood of which was taken into the sanctuary for the rite of expiation, must be taken outside the camp, where their skin, meat and offal are to be burnt.

Leviticus chapter 16 deals with the atonement day ceremony, in which the high priest made a series of offerings and purifications to atone for the sins of the people of Israel. The selected verses are:

Exodus 30:10: "And once a year, Aaron will do atonement on the ends of the altar; with the blood of the sin of atonement sin, he will do atonement over him once a year for all your generations. Most Holy to the Lord. " This verse mentions the sin offering of atonement, which was used on the day of atonement in Leviticus 16.

Leviticus 16:34: "And this will be for you a perpetual status, to do atonement for the children of Israel of all their transgressions once a year." This verse reinforces the importance of the atonement day ceremony as an annual practice to atone for the sins of the people.
