Judges, 20

4. And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into Gibeah that [belongeth] to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge.

Judges chapter 20 deals with the conflict between the tribes of Israel and the tribe of Benjamin, who had protected a group of men who committed a terrible crime against a woman. Psalm 27:1: "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom will I be afraid of? Is the Lord the strength of my life; whose I will fear me?" This psalm talks about trust in God in times of fear and uncertainty.

Proverbs 16:18: "Superb precedes ruin, and the haughtiness of the Spirit precedes the fall." This verse warns of the dangers of arrogance and pride.

Isaiah 1:18: "Come then, and argue me, says the Lord, Though your sins are like the scarlet, they will become white like snow; even if they are red as the Carmesim, they will become as the white wool. " This verse talks about the forgiveness God offers to sinners who repent and turn to Him.
