Ezekiel, 16

53. When I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then [will I bring again] the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:

Ezekiel 16 is a chapter that uses a prostitute's metaphor to describe Israel's infidelity with other gods and his betrayal to God. The chapter shows that God rescued Israel out of nowhere and made it a prosperous nation, but she surrendered to idolatry and immorality. Here are five verses related to the topics covered in Ezekiel 16:

Exodus 20:3-5: "Thou shalt not have other gods before me. Thou shalt not make it to you sculpted image, nor any figure on heaven, nor under the earth, nor in the waters under the earth. of them, you will not serve them; for I, the Lord your God, I am a zealous God, who visit the iniquity of parents in their children until the third and fourth generation of those who bore me. " This verse highlights the prohibition of idolatry and the warning of God about the consequences of those who worship other gods.
