Colossians, 3

Chapter 3 of Colossians deals mainly on how Christians should live their lives in union with Christ, setting aside things in the world and seeking things from above. It also emphasizes the importance of coating with virtues such as goodness, humility and love, and maintaining peace among the brothers. Below are five verses related to these themes:
Romans 12:2: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but become the renewal of your mind, so that they are able to experience and prove the good, pleasant and perfect will of God." This verse talks about the importance of moving away from things in the world and becoming through the renewal of the mind so that we can know and do God's will.
1 John 2:15-16: "Do not love the world or what is there. If someone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world - the greed of the flesh, the greed of the eyes and the ostentation of goods - do not come from the Father, but from the world. " This verse also talks about the importance of moving away from things in the world and loving God above all.
Ephesians 4:2: "With all humility and meekness, with patience, stand each other in love." This verse emphasizes the importance of maintaining unity and peace among the brothers, being patient and loving with each other.
Colossians 3:23-24: "Whatever they do, do with all their hearts, as for the Lord, and not to men, knowing that they will receive the reward of inheritance. It is to Christ, the Lord, that you are serving. " This verse highlights the importance of doing everything with excellence and heart -oriented heart rather than seeking the approval of men.
1 Peter 3:3-4: "Don't be their adornment what is out, like braided hair and gold jewelry or fine clothes; but be the inner man of the heart, joined with the incorruptible costume of a meek and quiet spirit, which It is of great value before God. " This verse talks about the importance of worrying more about internal character and virtues than external appearance.
