Nehemiah, 9

11. And thou didst divide the sea before them, and they passed through the midst of the sea on dry land: but their persecutors thou threwest into the depth, as a stone into mighty waters.

Nehemiah 9 is a chapter in which the Levites say a prayer of confession for the sins of Israel and reaffirm the covenant with God. The verses related to the topics addressed in this chapter are:

Deuteronomy 32:3-4: "For I will appeal to the name of the Lord; Give glory to our God. He is the rock, whose work is perfect, because all his righteous ways are.
