Romans, 16

25. But to him who is able to confirm you according to my Gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, in accord with the revelation of the mystery which has been hidden from time immemorial,

Romans 16 is the last chapter of the Epistle to the Romans and presents a series of greetings and personal recommendations of the apostle Paul. Among the topics addressed in this chapter, we can highlight the importance of the Christian community, teamwork and the valorization of the service provided by the brothers in the faith. Below are five verses related to these themes:

1 Corinthians 12:12 - "For, just as the body is one and has many members, and all members, being many, are one body, so is Christ as well." This verse makes an analogy between the human body and the Christian community, showing that each member has an important function and that all together form one body.

Philippians 2:2-3 - "Complete my joy, that you may feel the same, having the same love, the same mood, feeling the same. You do nothing by strife or by boasting, but by humility; each one considers others. superior to yourself. " In these verses, Paul urges the Philippians to cultivate unity and humility, valuing the other brothers in Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:11-"Therefore, exhort each other and build each other, as you do so." Here, Paul emphasizes the importance of mutual encouragement and building in the faith.

Hebrews 10:24-25-"And we consider each other to each other, to encourage ourselves to love and good works, keeping to congregate, as is the custom of some; before, let us make admonitions and more as you see that the Day approaches. " This verse emphasizes the importance of communion and mutual stimulus for the practice of love and good works.

1 Corinthians 3:8 - "What plants and what water is one; but each will receive their reward according to their work." Here, Paulo highlights the importance of teamwork and the valorization of the service provided by each brother in the Christian community.
