Chapter 8 of Jeremiah deals with the unbelief and lack of repentance of the people of Judah, which refuses to recognize the seriousness of their sins and to turn to God. Next, I present five verses related to these themes:
Isaiah 55:6-7: "Seek the Lord as long as one can find, invoke him while he is near. Leave the wicked his way, and the evil man his thoughts; turn to the Lord, who shall be sympathetic to him; To our God, because it is abundant in forgiving. " This verse encourages people to seek God as long as there is time, abandoning their sinful ways and turning to the Lord, who is abundant in forgiving.
Ezekiel 33:11: "Tell them, as well as I live, says the Lord Jehovah, that I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but in which the wicked becomes his way and live. of your evil ways, why will you die, O house of Israel? Isaiah 1:18: "Come, and let us, say the Lord; even if your sins are like scarlet, they will become white like snow; even if they are red as Carmesim, they will become like white wool. " This verse presents the offer of forgiveness and restoration that God makes to his people, even if his sins are many and serious.
