Wisdom of Solomon, 2

12. Let us lay traps for the upright man, since he annoys us and opposes our way of life, reproaches us for our sins against the Law, and accuses us of sins against our upbringing.

Proverbs 3:34 - "He mocks the mocking, but he is generous with the humble." This verse talks about God's attitude towards arrogant and humble, which is in contrast to the attitude of the wicked in wisdom 2.

Proverbs 10:24 - "What the wicked fear, it comes to them, but the desire of the righteous is fulfilled." This verse talks about the consequences of bad deeds that the wicked in wisdom 2 think they will not have.
