2 Kings, 8

5. And as he was describing for the king the manner in which he had raised the dead, the woman appeared, whose son he had restored to life, crying out to the king on behalf of her house and on behalf of her fields. And Gehazi said, “My lord the king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha raised up.”

Chapter 8 of 2 Kings tells the story of Hazael, a man who would eventually become king of Syria, and his interaction with the prophet Elisha and King Jehora of Israel. Hazael visits Elisha disguised and asks about the health of King Jeorão, while in fact he was interested in knowing if he would be able to become king. Later, Elisha sends one of his disciples to anoint Hazael as king of Syria, but also prophesies that he will cause much destruction. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in 2 Kings 8:

This verse talks about Hazael's actions, which is presented in 2 Kings 8 as a future king of Syria and that causes destruction in Israel, fulfilling Elisha's prophecy.
