Genesis, 47

9. Jacob replied: "The years I have lived as a wayfarer amount to a hundred and thirty. Few and hard have been these years of my life, and they do not compare with the years that my ancestors lived as wayfarers."

Genesis 47 narrates the continuation of Joseph's story and how he helped Pharaoh save Egypt from hunger by administering grain sales. Philippians 4:19: "My God, according to His riches, will supply all your needs in glory by Christ Jesus." Provision of food and land for Jacob's family is an example of God's faithfulness to meet all our needs.
