Psalm 104 is a hymn of praise to God for its creation and continuous providence in the support of the universe and human life. The psalmist extols the greatness, power and wisdom of the Creator, who did everything with purpose and beauty. The following verses are examples of other biblical excerpts that deal with the themes present in this Psalm:
Psalm 19:1 - "The heavens proclaim the glory of God, the firmament proclaims the work of his hands." This verse highlights the grandeur and beauty of creation, as well as the ability nature to reveal the glory of God.
Matthew 6:26 - "Observe the birds of heaven: they do not sow or reap or store in barns; however, heavenly Father feeds them. Do not have you much more value than them?" Jesus teaches that God, who created and sustains nature, also cares and provides for human needs.
Colossians 1:16-17 - "For all things were created in Him in heaven and earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or sovereignties, powers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before of all things, and in it everything subsists. " This verse reinforces the idea that all things were created by God with a purpose and that He is the Lord and sustainer of everything.
Genesis 1:31 - "God saw all that he had done, and everything had been very good. The afternoon and the morning were passed; this was the sixth day." This verse emphasizes that after creating everything, God saw that it was very good. This shows divine satisfaction with his work.
Psalm 139:14 - "I praise you because you have done me in a special and admirable way. Your works are wonderful! I say this with conviction." This verse points out that God created each person uniquely and with priceless value. He created us with purpose and love.
