14. and they shall put on it all the utensils of the altar, which are used for the service there, the firepans, the forks, the shovels, and the basins, all the utensils of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of goatskin, and shall put in its poles.

Chapter 4 of numbers deals with the responsibilities of the Levites regarding the transport of the tabernacle and the sacred objects during the journey through the desert. The selected verses are:

Deuteronomy 31:25-26: "That Moses commanded the Levites to transport the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying, Take this book of the law and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord, your God, that it may be as witness against you. " These verses show the importance of the Levites in the transport of sacred objects, including the Ark of the Covenant.

1 Chronicles 15:2: "Then David said, Here is the ark of God, which we have sought, to put under a tent we did to him." This verse describes the transfer of the ark from the covenant to Jerusalem, where David built a tabernacle to shelter it.

1 Chronicles 23:24-32: "These were their responsibilities regarding the service in the tabernacle of the house of God, according to the instructions of Aaron, his Father, like the Lord, the God of Israel had commanded him." Hebrews 9:1-5: "Now the first covenant also had ordinances of worship and an earthly sanctuary.
