24. Why do you turn your face away, forgetting that we are poor and harrassed?
Psalm 44 is a lamentation of the people of Israel, who feels abandoned by God and suffers constant defeats in battles. They recall the great works of God in the past, but now they are forgotten and rejected by Him. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in Psalm 44:
