Lamentations, 1

12. [Is it] nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted [me] in the day of his fierce anger.

Lamentations 1 is the first chapter of the book of lamentations, which presents a collection of poems that express deep sadness and regret for the destruction of Jerusalem and the suffering of the people of Judah. Isaiah 64:10: "Your Holy Cities have become deserted; Zion became desert, Jerusalem in sillow." This verse describes the destruction of sacred cities and the desolation of Jerusalem, which is a central theme of lamentations 1.

Psalm 137:1: "Next to the rivers of Babylon, we settle there and cry, when we remember Zion." This verse shows the pain and sadness of the exiles in Babylon, who remember their homeland and cry for the loss of Jerusalem.
