Hebrews, 9

4. Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein [was] the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

Isaiah 53:5-6: "But he was wounded because of our transgressions, and ground because of our iniquities; the punishment that brings us peace was upon him, and by his footsteps we were healed. Hebrews 10:4: "For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to remove sins." This verse reinforces the idea that the Old Testament sacrifices system was not enough to atone for the sins, highlighting the need for a perfect sacrifice for remission.

Hebrews 10:10: "In which will have been sanctified by the oblation of the body of Jesus Christ, made once and forever." This verse highlights the uniqueness of the sacrifice of Jesus, who offered himself as an eternal sacrifice to atone for the sins of humanity, emphasizing the superiority of Jesus' sacrifice in relation to the sacrifices of the Old Testament.
