28. As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so [was] the appearance of the brightness round about. This [was] the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw [it], I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
Ezekiel 1 is the first chapter of the book of Ezekiel, in which the prophet describes an impressive view of God's glory in a car of fire. The chapter includes many impressive details, such as the four living creatures, the wheels full of eyes, and the bright light that surrounded everything. This verse presents a vision of Micaiah about the heavenly throne and the heavenly army present around the throne. This vision can be related to the vision Ezekiel had in the first chapter of his book, where he describes a view of the heavenly throne and living beings around him.
