Exodus, 10

14. And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous [were they]; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.

Chapter 10 of Exodus narrates the continuation of Egypt's pests, with the arrival of the grasshopper plague. Moses and Aaron try to convince Pharaoh to free the Hebrews, but he still refuses. The selected verses are:

Deuteronomy 28:38: "You will throw a lot of seeds to the countryside, but you will gather little, because the grasshopper will consume her." This verse talks about the damage caused by grasshoppers to agriculture, a theme that is addressed in Chapter 10 of Exodus.

Joel 2:25: "And I will restore you the years that were consumed by the grasshopper." This verse also deals with grasshoppers, but shows that God has the power to restore what was lost.
