2 Chronicles, 10

6. And king Rehoboam took counsel with the old men that had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, saying, What counsel give ye [me] to return answer to this people?

Galatians 5:14: "For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." This verse emphasizes the importance of love and empathy in dealing with other people. If Roban had loved his people and considered his needs, he could have avoided the division of the kingdom of Israel.
