Psalms, 142

3. For the enemy hath persecuted my soul: he hath brought down my life to the earth. He hath made me to dwell in darkness as those that have been dead of old:

Psalm 142 is a prayer of a man in distress who cries to God for help and deliverance. The psalmist feels alone and persecuted, but trusts that God is his refuge and portion in the Land of the Living. Here are five verses related to the topics covered in Psalm 142:
