Deuteronomy, 24

8. Observe diligently that thou incur not the stroke of the leprosy, but thou shalt do whatsoever the priests of the Levitical race shall teach thee, according to what I have commanded them, and fulfil thou it carefully.

Isaiah 61:8: "For I, the Lord, love justice and hate theft and evil in its various forms. I will give you fair payment and make an eternal covenant with them." This verse highlights the importance of justice and condemns theft and exploitation.

1 John 3:17: "But if anyone has material resources and sees his brother, but he closes his heart to him, how can the love of God be in him?" This verse highlights the importance of helping those who are in need and not be selfish with our resources.

Matthew 6:14-15: "For if they forgive each other's offenses, heavenly Father will forgive you too. But if they do not forgive each other, the heavenly Father will not forgive your offenses." This verse highlights the importance of forgiveness and mercy, which is emphasized in Deuteronomy 24 regarding the cancellation of debt.
