Isaiah 53:5: "But he was wounded by our transgressions and ground for our iniquities; the punishment that brings us peace was upon Him, and by his footsteps we were healed." This prophetic verse of Isaiah relates to the crucifixion of Jesus, in which He was wounded and killed by the sins of humanity.

This verse narrates the burial of Jesus, which is a crucial moment in the history of salvation, as it marks the beginning of resurrection and victory over death.
