Deuteronomy 4 is a chapter in which Moses exhorts the people of Israel to faithfully follow God's laws and commandments. He reinforces the importance of obeying God and not deviating his ways. Deuteronomy 6:4-5 - "Hear, Israel, the Lord our God is the only Lord. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and of all thy forces." " This verse highlights the importance of fearing God, loving Him and following Him, as well as the importance of obeying His laws and statutes.
Deuteronomy 11:26-28 - "Behold, today I put before you the blessing and the curse: the blessing, when you fulfill the commandments of the Lord your God, which today I command you; but the curse, if you do not fulfill the commandments of the Lord if you do not fulfill the Lord Your God, but you deviate from the way that I command you today, to follow other gods you have not known. " This verse highlights the importance of choosing to obey God and follow his ways in order to receive blessings rather than curses. It is a warning that Moses makes Israel in Deuteronomy 4.
