Genesis 14 is a chapter that reports a battle between four kings against five kings, and as Abram rescues his nephew Lot, which had been captured during the battle. Here are five verses related to the topics addressed in Genesis 14:
Psalm 144:1: "Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands to battle and my fingers to war." This verse speaks of how God prepares us for battle. In Genesis 14, we see that Abram prepared for battle and won his enemies.
2 Timothy 2:3-4: "Join me to suffer as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No service soldier gets involved in civil issues, because he wants to please his superior." This verse speaks of how soldiers should focus on serving the Lord instead of getting involved in earthly issues.
