Jeremiah, 51

25. Behold, I [am] against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

Chapter 51 of Jeremiah talks about the fall and destruction of Babylon, which will be punished by God because of his arrogance and cruelty. The prophet Jeremiah is sent to proclaim the destruction of Babylon and encourage God's people to leave the city before it is too late. Isaiah 44:27: "I am the one who says about Cyrus, 'He is my pastor and will accomplish all that pleases me; He will say of Jerusalem," Be rebuilt, "and of the temple:" His foundations be released. Isaiah 13:19: "Babylon, the jewel of the kingdoms, glory and pride of the Chaldeans, will be like Sodom and Gomorrah when God destroyed them." This verse speaks of the fall of Babylon, which will be punished for its arrogance and sins against God.

Jeremiah 50:46: "Listen to the cry of Babylon; the sound of great destruction comes from the land of the Chaldeans." This verse speaks of the imminent destruction of Babylon and the cry that will be heard throughout the earth.
