1 Samuel, 22

6. Now Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men who were with him. Saul was sitting at Gib'e-ah, under the tamarisk tree on the height, with his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him.

1 Samuel 22 narrates David's escape to Adulão, where he meets with others displeased and oppressed who join him. " These verses encourage believers not to give in to greed and to trust the Lord as his helper and protector, just as David did during his Saul escape.
