Matthew, 13

35. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4: "But if our gospel is overwhelmed, for those who are perishing it is covered. " This verse talks about the spiritual reality of unbelief and the role of the devil in blinding the minds of unbelievers so that they do not see the truth of the gospel.
