Leviticus, 16

17. And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy [place], until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.

Versi relativi a Leviticus, 16:

Leviticus chapter 16 deals with the atonement day ceremony, in which the high priest made a series of offerings and purifications to atone for the sins of the people of Israel. The selected verses are:

Exodus 30:10: "And once a year, Aaron will do atonement on the ends of the altar; with the blood of the sin of atonement sin, he will do atonement over him once a year for all your generations.
