Exodus 40 tells the conclusion of the construction of the tabernacle, followed by its assembly and consecration. Numbers 9:15-16: "On the day the tabernacle was erected, the cloud covered it, that is, the testimony tent; and from the afternoon to the morning, there was upon the tabernacle as a fire appearance. So it happened regularly: the cloud covers the day, and at night there seemed to be fire. " This verse reports the constant presence of God's glory in the tabernacle, which is a central theme of Exodus 40.
