Deuteronomy, 24

3. And [if] the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth [it] in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her [to be] his wife;

Deuteronomy 24 contains laws on divorce, forgiveness of debt, harvesting and the protection of workers' rights. The chapter also emphasizes the importance of treating others with justice and mercy.

Proverbs 22:22-23: "Do not steal the poor, because he is poor, nor crushing the needy in court, for the Lord will defend their cause and take the lives of those who steal them." This verse emphasizes the importance of treating those in need with justice and not exploit them.

James 5:4: "Behold, the salary of the workers who reaped your fields, and that you have been retained with fraud, is crying out; and the cries of the reaper have penetrated to the ears of the Lord of hosts." This verse talks about the importance of paying workers fairly and not retaining them from their wages.

Isaiah 61:8: "For I, the Lord, love justice and hate theft and evil in its various forms. I will give you fair payment and make an eternal covenant with them." This verse highlights the importance of justice and condemns theft and exploitation.

1 John 3:17: "But if anyone has material resources and sees his brother, but he closes his heart to him, how can the love of God be in him?" This verse highlights the importance of helping those who are in need and not be selfish with our resources.

Matthew 6:14-15: "For if they forgive each other's offenses, heavenly Father will forgive you too. But if they do not forgive each other, the heavenly Father will not forgive your offenses."
