2 Chronicles, 24

23. And when a year was come about, the army of Syria came up against him: and they came to Juda and Jerusalem, end killed all the princes of the people, and they sent all the spoils to the king of Damascus.

2 Chronicles 24 describes the reign of Joás, a king who did what was right in the eyes of the Lord while the Joiada priest was alive, but who walked away from God after the death of the priest and eventually murdered his son.
