Leviticus, 20

17. If a man takes his sister, the daughter of his father or his mother and they have sexual relations, it is a shameful thing and they shall be cut off before the eyes of their people. He has dishonored his sister and carries his guilt.

Leviticus 20 presents a list of punishments for various transgressions, including forbidden sex, idolatry and other practices considered abominable in the eyes of God. Below are five verses related to the themes of the chapter:

Deuteronomy 22:22 "If it is discovered that a man is lying with another man's wife, both must die, the man who is lying with his wife and his own woman. So you will eliminate the evil of Israel." Deuteronomy 18:9-12 "Do not be found among you who practice guessing, who practice magic, who interprets omens, who practices witchcraft, who makes enchantments, who consult spirits or mediums, or who invokes the dead.
