6. The lowest story was five cubits wide; the middle, six cubits wide; and the third, seven cubits wide. Around the exterior of the temple, he made offsets on the wall so that the supporting beams need not be inserted into walls of the temple.
Chapter 6 of 1 kings describes the construction of Solomon's temple in Jerusalem. He hired workers to build the temple according to the specifications God has given him, and took seven years to complete the work. Following are five Bible verses related to the topics addressed in 1 Kings 6.

Solomon also covered the house with all the house all over; of the sanctuary, which covered with gold.
