Exodus, 10

6. And they will fill your houses, and those of your servants and of all the Egyptians: so many as your fathers and ancestors have not seen, from the time that they rose up over the earth, even until this present day.” And he turned himself away, and he departed from Pharaoh.

Chapter 10 of Exodus narrates the continuation of Egypt's pests, with the arrival of the grasshopper plague. Moses and Aaron try to convince Pharaoh to free the Hebrews, but he still refuses. The selected verses are:

Deuteronomy 28:38: "You will throw a lot of seeds to the countryside, but you will gather little, because the grasshopper will consume her." This verse talks about the damage caused by grasshoppers to agriculture, a theme that is addressed in Chapter 10 of Exodus.
