Chapter 15 of numbers deals with the offer of voluntary sacrifices and offerings that should be presented to the Lord, as well as instructions on the observance of God's commandments. Following are five verses related to the topics addressed in numbers 15, in order of proximity to the chapter:
Leviticus 22:17-18: "And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, speak to Aaron and his children, and to all the sons of Israel, and say unto them, Any man of the house of Israel, or of foreigners in Israel , to offer your offer, whether of your vows, or your voluntary offerings, which they offer the Lord in Holocaust; " This verse talks about the offer of sacrifices that should be presented to the Lord, which is similar to what is addressed in numbers 15.
Leviticus 23:15-16: "And from the day after Saturday, from the day you bring the sauce of the moved offer, seven full weeks will be. Until the day after the seventh Saturday, you will count fifty days; then you will offer new offer of food to the Lord. " This verse talks about the obligation of the people of Israel to make tithes as a way of contributing to the support of Levi's tribe, which was responsible for religious service.
