St. Matthew 1 is the first chapter of the Gospel of Matthew and presents the genealogy of Jesus Christ, from Abraham to Joseph, the husband of Mary. The history of the birth of Jesus is also presented through the virgin conception of Mary. Here are five verses related to the topics covered in São Matthew 1:
