2 Thessalonians, 1

11. In view of this we also pray continually that our God will make you worthy of his call, and by his power fulfil all your desires for goodness, and complete all that you have been doing through faith;

2 Thessalonians 1 talks about God's righteousness and his retribution to those who persecute Christians. The chapter emphasizes that God is righteous and will bring judgment to those who do evil, while rewarding those who remain faithful to Him. Psalm 94:23 - "He shall make his own evil fall upon them and destroy them in his own malice; yes, the Lord our God will destroy them."
