Haggai, 2

Chapter 2 of Haggai talks about the restoration of the Jerusalem temple, which had been destroyed by the Babylonians. Ageu prophesies that the glory of this temple will be greater than that of the previous temple and that God will bring prosperity to the people of Judah. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in Ageu 2:
2 Chronicles 36:23: "Thus says Cyrus, king of Persia: The Lord God of heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and in charge of building me a house in Jerusalem, who is in Judah. Your people? The Lord your God be with Him, and go up. " This verse talks about the Order of Cyrus, king of Persia, for the reconstruction of the temple in Jerusalem, which is the main theme of Ageu 2.
Esdras 6:14: "And the elders of the Jews were building and thriving, by the prophecy of the prophet Hug and Zechariah, son of Ido. They built the house and perfected it, according to the warrant of the God of Israel, and according to Cyrus's warrant , and of Dario, and of Artaxerxes, kings of Persia. " This verse shows that Ageu's prophecy about the restoration of the temple was fulfilled and that the Jews were blessed with prosperity.
Isaiah 60:7: "The whole flock will gather to you, the sheeps of nebaiote will serve you; it will be acceptably to my altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory." This verse talks about the glory that God will bring to His people and to His temple, which relates to AGE's prophecy about the glory of the new temple.
1 Kings 8:10-11: "And it happened that, coming out the priests of the sanctuary, a cloud filled the house of the Lord, so that the priests could not stand to minister, because of the cloud, because glory From the Lord he had filled the house of the Lord. " This verse talks about the glory of God who filled the temple of Solomon, which relates to Aetu's prophecy about the glory of the new temple.
Psalm 72:16: "There will be plenty of wheat on earth, to the top of the mountains; its fruit will make noise like Lebanon, and men will flourish in cities like the grass of the earth." This verse talks about the prosperity that God will bring to his people, which relates to Ageu's prophecy about prosperity that will come to Judah after the restoration of the temple.
