17. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour's.

Exodus 20 is one of the most important chapters of the Bible, for in it are presented the ten commandments, which are the basic principles of God's law. Matthew 22:36-40: "Master, what is the great commandment in the law? Jesus answered him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy understanding.
