3. Saying: Why didst thou go in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them?
Acts of Apostles 11 reports the apostles and brothers' response in Jerusalem after hearing the news that Peter had preached to the Gentiles and that they had received the Holy Spirit. 1 Peter 4:3: "Because you have already spent enough time doing what pleases the pagans, living on liberation, lust, drunkenness and detestable orgies." This verse addresses the idea that Gentiles lived in sin before they know the truth of Christ, something that is relevant to the context of Acts of the Apostles 11, where Peter preaches to the Gentiles and they are transformed by the Holy Spirit.
