2 Kings 25:4: "The city was invaded, and all the soldiers fled at night along the way to the door between the two walls near the king's garden" This verse describes the moment when Jerusalem is taken by the Babylonians, confirming the prophecy of Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 32:3: "Zedekiah, King of Judah, had him arrest and asked him," The Lord did not speak to him, saying, "Will I give this city into the hands of the king of Babylon, who will take it?" It shows how Jeremiah is arrested and taken before King Zedekiah, whom he had already prophesied the fall of the city.

Jeremiah 21:4-7: "Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel: Behold, I will turn against you the weapons of war that are in your hands, with which you battle outside the walls, and will gather in the midst of this city all the city Your enemies. I will fight against you with extended hand and a strong arm, with wrath, furor and great indignation. I will hurt the inhabitants of this city, men and animals; they will die of great pestilence. " These verses show the continuity of Jeremiah's message, which foresees the fall of Jerusalem and the punishment of the people for their sins.

Jeremiah 39:18: "I will deliver you that day, says the Lord; you will not be delivered into the hands of men you are afraid." This verse is God's promise to Jeremiah, which would be protected during the fall of Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 52:7-11: "Then the city was invaded, and all the soldiers fled at night along the way to the door between the two walls near the king's garden, though the Chaldeans were around the city. And King fled along the way From Arabá, but the army Caldeu persecuted him and reached him in the Campinas of Jericho. All his army dispersed and fled, leaving him alone. Then they arrested the king and led him to the king of Babylon in Ribla, in the land of Hamate , where it was condemned. " These verses describe the fall of Jerusalem and the capture of King Zedekiah by the Babylonians, confirming the prophecy of Jeremiah.
